Ever since I was little, I loved to draw, and still do.
I was drawing airplanes during naptime in Kindergarten with one of my guy friends, along with Powerpuff Girls in my spare time until 2nd or 3rd grade. In 3rd grade, I was introduced to anime by my best friend. Gradually, I got a bit better.
Or did I?
From 7th to 8th grade, I then had the need to draw dragons 24/7. I got a little better at that, but like everything else, I slowly stopped drawing them. In 9th grade, I got back to drawing some anime, and felt that I excelled a lot versus when I started drawing them back in early 3rd grade. I felt like I was turning out to be an anime traditional artist. But like everything else, I suddenly changed my course in my art.
In January of 2011, sophomore year, my friends were talking about Invader Zim almost nonstop. One of them even dressed as Gir for Halloween! Me being utterly curious on what exactly "Invader Zim" was, I watched the episode "The Nightmare Begins". After I watched the episode, my mind was blown. I was basically stricken with a whole bunch of awesomeness. That's when my IZ-insanity began; from one episode. I wanted more.
Now I watch Invader Zim every now and then (but school comes first), and draw it like there's no tomorrow. I will and am proud to be an Invader Zim artist.
Presently, while I am still an artist on Invader Zim, I am trying to expand and finding new things so I can be better in cartoonism, such as random OC's I have been making including my everyday OC with the blonde hair that you can find in a few styles I have tried, including Jhonen's style for IZ.
